Fed up was a complete understatement, Carly walked the short distance to the office of the taxi company the events going round and round her head until the upset and pain were washed away by her tears only to be replaced by intense anger “How fucking dare they” she clenched and unclenched her fists continuously, the small attendant behind the counter seemed alarms at her appearance and anger, but Carly didn’t care she had had enough. How dare they treat her like that, yes she wasn’t perfect but nobody was. She knew her faults better than anyone but she didn’t appreciate being judge by people that didn’t know her, didn’t know why she had let food dictate her life for the past 5 years. They didn’t know why she struggled on a daily basis.

Carly turned to look out of the window, the lights of other clubs illuminated the streets as well as the headlights of cars passing on the road. But one light stood out, bright and clear. Carly wiped the tears from her face and lifted her chin, she felt something snap inside, almost like a lightbulb moment and she embraced it. She cancelled the taxi and headed back outside and towards the beckoning lights.

Change was happening and it was starting right now!

Just watch this fucking space…..

Having read Exercise In Love in the Valentine’s Day anthology and loved it, I was thrilled to learn that J Thompson was expanding it. It’s a story that can speak to any reader, especially women, as most of us have all had some type of body image issues. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I won’t go into it any more than that. All I can say is that the female main character, Carly, is so real and you can identify with her. The way J Thompson wrote her back story is a work of art. My heart ached for her so badly.

When she met the main male character, Andy, I was cheering. OMG, he is the quintessential book boyfriend. How I wish that every guy could read this book and use him as a guide for how to treat their ladies. Or maybe we could just invent a machine that brings him to life lol. I don’t know…there would be some major fighting over him 🙂

Ok, back to being serious about the book. I give Exercise In Love 5 stars for the writing, story line, character development…it has it all. You will finish this story with a smile on your face as well as looking for more J Thompson books. This author has some awesome books in her back list and the ones coming up…wow, look out, she is going to blow you away!

Rating: 4.5 stars

Wolf is finally here! I’ve been waiting on his story since Coup De Grace. His character swept in and stole my heart and I hoped he would get a book although I do hate it’s the end of the series. I guess if you’re going to end it, go out with a bang and the author did just that.

Wolf and the female MC. Raven, have been through hell. Lani Lynn Vale has written some terrible situations for her characters to escape from in the past, but their two are the stuff nightmares are made of. Not saying this in a bad way…just be ready to have your tissues next to you while reading. So it’s no wonder that they have a hard time getting together, trusting each other, etc…especially Raven. It was hard for me to read the in depth torture scenes by the human traffickers…ok, well that’s enough of the story…no spoilers.

I’m so glad we got Wolf and Raven’s story. It’s going to shock you, make you cry, and make you smile. Wolf’s son will grab your heart and make your smile. I think he was the perfect foil to the other things taking place in the story.

I give Rusty Nail 4.5 stars…hurry and one-click!

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

Seaside Whispers (Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers) by Melissa Foster

Seaside Whispers (Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers)
Author: Melissa Foster
Genre: Adult Steamy Romance
Release Date: November 30, 2016

Seaside Summers is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

Having a mad crush on her boss’s son, Matt Lacroux—an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy—is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt’s life is hours away from Mira’s home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.

With hopes of becoming dean off the table, and too many months of longing for a woman who lived too far away to pursue, Matt’s publishing contract couldn’t have come at a better time. He heads home to Cape Cod on a brief sabbatical, intent on starting his book, and finally getting his arms around sweet, seductive Mira.

A surprise encounter leads to white-hot passions and midnight confessions. The more time Matt and Mira spend together, the deeper their relationship grows, and the love and attention Matt showers on Hagen is more than she has ever dreamed of. But Matt’s sabbatical is only temporary, and Mira’s not saving his father’s company so she can leave it behind. Will their whispers of love be enough for one of them to change their life forever?
Review by Melody’s Love 4 Books
Rating: 5 stars
Unable to get each other out of their head after meeting a year before, Matt and Mira have a beautiful friendship that transcends into a hot sweet loving relationship. I love that Melissa Foster made the heroine a single mom with a son. There are so many women in this position and it’s good to see an author tap into what a single parent would worry about. In this case, Mira, doesn’t have anything to worry about. Matt loves her son, Hagen, and I loved the scenes with all of them together.

In my opinion, Melissa Foster has done it again. I look forward to reading more in this series. A definite 5 stars!

He punched in the code to the security keypad, and the minute he was inside the dark store, he heard it. Tap, tap, tap. He froze, every neuron on high alert, and listened. Tap, tap, tap, tap, pause, tap, tap, tap. It was coming from his father’s office. His arms instinctively flexed, preparing for a fight. He moved swiftly and silently to the office door and listened to the incessant tapping. Dad’s calculator?
He pushed the door open, and his body flooded with awareness at the sight of Mira sitting at the desk, her fingers flying over the calculator. Maybe this was his lucky night after all.
Her hand flew to her chest. “Matt…?” His name came out all breathy. “You scared me. I had no idea you were in town.”
Because I made a point of wanting to surprise you, although not exactly like this.
“Sorry about that, Sunshine. I just got in a little while ago. I came to get a showerhead.” He walked into the small office, taking in the ledger on the desk, illuminated by his father’s ancient single-bulb lamp, and the family photos thumbtacked to the wall. He noticed a new photograph front and center, a picture of Hagen holding a fishing rod with a little sunfish dangling from the line. He knew how much Mira and Hagen meant to his father, but seeing Hagen’s photo among their family’s brought the full impact home. He shifted his gaze to Mira, and as the shock of his arrival wore off, a beautiful smile spread across her face. There it was, the brightness that had hooked him all those months ago. The sweet look of innocence and rebellious I-can-take-on-the-world confidence in her gorgeous eyes. She had no idea what she did to him.
“Sunshine,” she whispered, and shook her head.
“You can’t deny the way you light up everything around you.” He’d given her the nickname last summer because she had such a positive outlook on life.
“You should see me before I have coffee in the mornings.”
I’d like that more than you know.
“A showerhead? Let me show you where they are.” She pushed to her feet, nearly bumping into his chest in the close quarters. Her chestnut hair tumbled sexily over her shoulders as she stood before him, one hand perched over his chest, the other reaching up to touch his cheek. “What happened?”
Their attraction had been immediate and intense last summer and had only grown stronger with each subsequent visit—at least he knew it had for him. For months he’d buried any hope of exploring their connection beneath classes and research papers. Now, as she gazed into his eyes, all those heated memories came rushing back.
“I was assaulted by the old one.”
“Ouch.” She grimaced, and the spray of freckles on the bridge of her nose rose with the effort.
He hadn’t been able to get that cute mannerism out of his head when he’d gone back to Princeton, and damn, did he like seeing it again.
“You might need a stitch.” Her fingers lingered on his skin, warm and soft.
He covered her hand with his, pressing it to his cheek. “It’s nothing, really.”
She nibbled nervously on the corner of her mouth. “I’ll just…” She pointed out of the office, and her hand slid from beneath his. Her breasts brushed against his arm as she walked away, stirring more of that same dark attraction.
There was no shortage of women vying for Matt’s attention. From coeds to faculty, he could have his pick back in Princeton, and the choices were just as plentiful here at the Cape. But the only woman he saw when he closed his eyes at night was heading down aisle seven of his father’s hardware store.

Once Upon A Christmas Anthology: A Wynter Family Saga

Once Upon A Christmas

An Anthology by

Maggie Robinson, Tiffany Clare, J.K. Coi, & Elyssa Patrick

Release Date: November 1st, 2016

The holidays are a time for family, celebration—and the Dukes of Ravenglass to fall in love. Spend the Christmas season with the Wynter family, as the Dukes of Ravenglass find their happily-ever-afters in this delightful, heartfelt collection that spans from the Regency era to the present day.

In A Price Above Rubies by Maggie Robinson, set in the Regency era, paid companion Helen Lowe doesn’t know the man she shares her first-ever dance—and first-ever kiss—is Gabriel Wynter, a reclusive, notorious duke. When Helen flees after being exposed, she leaves behind something of far greater value than a glass slipper. Can Gabriel find her, return it, and finally open his heart?

In the Victorian-era set, Never Have I Ever Fallen in Love with a Duke by Tiffany Clare, Alexander Wynter has a problem—his best friend’s younger sister grew up. When he agreed to help Emily MacCallon make her debut, he didn’t expect the beautiful, alluring woman before him—or for her to lead him on such a merry chase. Alexander knows one thing: the only man she’ll be kissing forever and ever is him.

In the World War II-set, Loving Lord Spy by J.K. Coi, Winnie Jenkins, a combat nurse, and Lord David Wynter, an injured British spy, fall in love at the worst possible time. Each of them owes a duty to their country and must go their separate ways. They promise that when the war is finally over, they’ll meet in Hyde Park on Christmas morning…but agree that if one of them doesn’t make it, the other won’t seek out the reason why. Can they keep their appointment? Or will secrets, lies, and the perils of war keep them apart?

A missed connection gets a second chance in the present-day contemporary romance, Saved by the Belle by Elyssa Patrick. Seven years ago, Kit Wynter met the woman of his dreams. Even after all this time, he’s never been able to forget the American girl who captured his heart. When Belle Sweeney answers his ad—for she, too, never forgot him—it feels like there’s something still there. Spending the holiday at Ravenglass Abbey is the perfect opportunity to figure out if this is love.

Once Upon a Christmas is a fabulous anthology by a group of fantastic authors. Each story is interwoven to connect with the other. Romance and Christmas are my two favorite things and this anthology combined them in the best way. They range from the Regency era to Victorian times, through World War II, and finally present day. I enjoyed each and every one of them.

The final story in the book, Saved By the Belle, written by Elyssa Patrick (love her books) was my favorite. Kit, the 12th Duke of Ravensglass and Belle Sweeney met one night in London, seven years ago. They didn’t exchange names, rather using nicknames and it turned into a missed connection. Kit, not able to get the American girl, out of his mind put an ad in The London List detailing that night and advertising that he would be waiting to take the train to Cumbria. Oh my god! By this time, I had tears in my eyes. Was she going to make it? And how would she ever know? The refrain in the book, “She wasn’t going to come” kept being repeated and I felt my heart racing. (I really get into my books lol).

Does she show? And if she does, what happens between her and Kit? Well, what happens is…you have to buy the book! 🙂

Sorry, that was mean, but you really do need to one-click this anthology. Every story builds upon the other to create a wonderfully smooth transition through time. Each author brings something to the table and I am so privileged that I was able to read this story. It’s definitely going to be a reread for me….especially Saved By the Belle.

Congratulations to all the authors…you have a winner!

Interview with Elyssa Patrick

I’m excited to present an interview with one of my very favorite authors. She is on my one-click list no matter what the book is. I love her quirky funny yet emotional style that can have me laughing and crying all in the same book. If you don’t know her yet, get to know her through this interview and start one-clicking her books today!

  1. When and why did you begin writing?

I began writing at a very young age (I think when I first started learning how to write, so maybe a little in kindergarten and first grade). I remember I wrote a Halloween story featuring Dracula, Frankenstein, and Wolfman all in a haunted house that I read aloud to my grandparents. In retrospect, this was probably a torturous thing for them to have to sit through, lol.

I’m not sure why I began writing—I just knew it was something I wanted to do and needed to do. Writing felt as natural as breathing.

  1. When did you first consider yourself a writer?

Probably when I was little! I wanted to write and be an author from a very young age but I wasn’t sure I could make it happen.

  1. Do you have a specific writing style?

I would say that my writing style is light, funny, mixed with heat and happiness.

  1. Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

For messages, I believe that is really up for readers to decide—what the book is for them. But I hope that this novella and my other books—especially my books going forward—that they make readers feel happy and feel those swoony feels.

  1. What books have influenced you the most?

So many! Seriously. I think I take a little something from every book I read. Little Women; Little House on the Prairie series; Anne of Green Gable series; Jane Austen’s Emma, Pride and Prejudice, and Persuasion; William Shakespeare; Julia Quinn’s The Bridgertons, particularly The Viscount and I; Julie Anne Long’s The Thief and I and What I Did for a Duke; Lisa Kleypas’ Dreaming of You and The Devil in Winter; Susan Elizabeth Phillips’ Dream a Little Dream, Kiss an Angel, Match Me If You Can, Natural Born Charmer; Nora Roberts; Julie James; Toni Blake’s One Reckless Summer.

  1. Is there an author or mentor that you look up to?

Not really, but I have a lot of authors I love and admire. Besides the other authors in the anthology, I love and admire Nora Roberts, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Julie Anne Long, Julie James, Tamara Morgan, Lisa Kleypas, Jill Shalvis, Seanan McGuire, Jessica Clare, Shannon Stacey, Jaci Burton, Jen Frederick, and Meredith Duran.

  1. What book are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire and loving them. I’m on Book 6, and I highly recommend this Urban Fantasy series. I’m also going to read Julie Anne Long’s Wild at Whiskey Creek, Shannon Stacey’s Holiday with a Twist, and Jessica Clare’s Beauty and the Billionaire: The Wedding.

I also really, really want to read Lisa Kleypas’ 2017 release, Devil in Spring.

  1. Did you learn anything from writing and if so, what was it?

I think I learn something with every book/novella that I write. It differs with each one, of course. But with this novella, I finally learned to just be myself in the writing and to not feel like I had to write differently because of whatever reason. So, in Saved by the Belle, I feel like I allowed myself the freedom to really write what I want to write—and as a result, I absolutely loved writing the novella once I found my groove.

  1. Do you have any advice for other writers?

My advice would be to trust yourself—and what works for one writer/author does not work for all. If you’ve found your writing groove—whether it be pantsing or plotting or quilting, a combo, or something else entirely—don’t feel like you have to change it because someone else says it’s not the “correct” way to write. You write how you write!

I also think that I sometimes see authors and writers say, I wish I could be Nora Roberts (or other wildly popular name)—and in fact, I’ve been guilty of this in the past.

But I’ve realized that this can create a lot of bad feelings, because you’re constantly comparing. Nora Roberts is Nora Roberts. Lisa Kleypas is Lisa Kleypas. You’re you.

No one can be you. No one has your voice, the way you write how you write, the way you see and tell stories. Embrace that. Be true to you.

  1. If you were not a writer, what else would like to have done?

In college, I wanted to be an actress. That died very quickly after graduation.

  1. What weird or quirky thing do you do when you write?

What happens in the writing cave stays in the writing cave. 😉

Thank you to Elyssa Patrick for giving this great online interview. She’s not only talented, but a very gracious and sweet person all around.

Some might call me a lonely, little rich girl with first world problems. I disagree with that descriptor, well, the lonely part, anyway.

My heart pinches, just like it always does when it comes to the man who has no use for me.

Anywho, you’d think I’d be miserable around families who love one another, especially ones as big as my best friend, Evangeline’s. I think she has eleventy billion relatives attending her wedding today.

 Or fifty.

 It’s a huge family.

The groom, Hunter—his is no different on his mother’s side. I think they brought all of Tijuana with them. Except, we’re all supposed to travel to Mexico for a second reception tomorrow.

So you’d totally think I would hate weddings joining said families together.

But you’d be wrong. I’m a total sucker, romantic… or masochist. Take your pick.

In any case, I’m overjoyed for Eva. She deserves someone like Hunter mooning over her, sexing her up all the time, and being completely, utterly in love with her.

“Smile wider, please,” the photographer orders and I pull my lips back from my teeth like a beaver about to get her wood on.

 “Not that wide,” he mutters.

With a little sigh, I slump and almost dump my boobs out of the top of my dress. Tugging the material up, I ask, “Better?”

“No,” the groomsman beside me whispers in my ear and I stiffen. Here come the comments about my breasts. “I like the one before he made us look like deranged antelopes.”

Delighted at his comparison, I glance up at him. “You have experience with them?”

He smiles, making my stomach flip, just like he’s done since I first laid eyes on him while walking down the aisle. “I was joking.”

“I wasn’t. The animal shelter needs to be prepared for anything.”

“People around here bring antelopes back from Africa a lot?”

I’m not sure if he’s teasing me, so I just go with it. “No, but they do adopt animals that they don’t keep longer than two weeks, and then we’re responsible for them.”

“Hey, Chatty Cathies. We’re trying to take a wedding picture here,” a guy calls out.

“Shut it, Rollins,” the groomsman growls, then turns his sexy blue eyes on me again. “Ignore him. You talk for as long as you want.”

“That could be a really long time,” I admit. “I live by myself and Empress Padme is exceptionally good at the quiet game.”

His eyes widen a little. “Really?”

The sound of a camera whirring as it takes our pictures doesn’t stop me from looking at him. Something that is a feat in of itself since I’m a teensy bit vain when it comes to how I look in photographs.

 “I’m Saylor by the way.”

“You’re Anakin.” I practically breathe his name. Wincing, I attempt to correct myself. “I meant that you have the same name as the guy who played him and Darth Vader.”

“My acting chops are far, far worse.”

“Doubtful.” Only a smidgen of guilt pokes me in the gut for being so disloyal. “Have you seen the latest one?”

Before Hayden can answer, Hunter grabs his arm, giving me a smile and Hayden a pointed look. “Mind if I borrow him?”

 “It’s your wedding.”

I watch as the two of them walk away, Hunter talking intently to Hayden.

Evangeline, looking radiant in her wedding gown, joins in on the picture, which is now only of bridesmaids and flower girls.

There are twenty-five of us.

Or three.

Eva has a lot of nieces, a sister, and four sisters-in-law. They’re all beautiful, happily married—the sisters, not the nieces—, and kind… I want to hate them, but I can’t. They’re undeserving of that kind of emotion from me.

Plus, they did my makeup and hair—the nieces, not the sisters. The oldest one, all of twelve, wielded an eyeliner pencil better than Rey with a light saber.

“Was Hayden bothering you,” Evangeline asks as we take a break from smiling.

I like him bothering me. “We were just talking.”

Her blue eyes flicker over me. “He didn’t want to just talk.”

Having escaped an abusive marriage, Evangeline simply wants to start over in the small, quiet town of Forrestville. She’s also avoiding all contact with the opposite sex, because she just can’t trust her instincts when it comes to men—not even with the sinfully sexy cop next door. So why can’t she stop thinking about him? Hunter has darkness in his soul, and yet no one ever made her feel so safe. For all her best laid plans, Evangeline didn’t count on choices this hard—or temptation this hot.

The Reason For Me by Prescott Lane-Excerpt Reveal

Coming October 19th

She likes it quick and dirty.

I like orders and rules.

 She hates small talk.

 I hate to share.

 She’s an open book.

 I’m a closed dresser drawer.

 She rides a Harley.

And that drives me f’ing nuts.

Annalyse and I have both lived in our own personal hells for half a decade.  She’s learned to love the warmth, and I’m still consumed.  But my new neighbor is stoking more than my libido these days.  We agreed on only pleasure.  But she changed the rules.

And now I’m not even sure what they are.

Maybe there’s a reason she found me that night, maybe there’s a reason I can’t stop thinking about her, maybe there’s a reason for the pain.  Maybe not.

We all look for reasons in life.  Reasons for death, love, pain.  Why one thing happens and not another?  It’s human nature.  We’ve been looking for the meaning of life since the beginning of time.  But maybe the reason for all of it — life, love, loss, heartache — is the curvy brunette living next door.

There’s just something about being wrapped up in the right man’s arms that makes your heart believe anything is possible.

But the heart is a liar — a cruel, vicious liar.

It’s making me feel things that my head knows I shouldn’t.  Holt told me he can’t love me.  It was the first thing he said to me, so why is my heart telling me to believe the opposite?

Abruptly, I sit up and wipe water on my face before covering my chest with my hands.  He simply leans up and gently rubs my back.  “Cold?” he asks.

I nod and get to my feet, his hand running down my butt cheek as I step out of the tub and reach for a towel.  Holt darts up and stops me, his fingers circling my hips.

“You have bruises,” he says, causing me to look down.  He’s right.  A couple tiny bruises grace my hips.  He lightly grabs my hips, his fingers lining up with the marks on my flesh.

“Doesn’t hurt,” I say, reaching out to him, but he steps back.

“You’re hurt because of me.”

I can’t explain it, but I can see darkness cascade over him, like a storm you see coming over the horizon.  His eyes get darker; his body seems heavier.  The weight this man carries — whatever it is — is so huge, even the air in the room seems to change.  I should be scared, but I’m not.  I can see it in his eyes — the pain, the regret, the guilt.

“I just want to protect you,” he says, his voice low.

“Holt, I would tell you if you were too rough,” I say, stepping closer to him and stroking the stubble on his face.

His eyes spark, and he falls to his knees, kissing each bruise softly.  “Think I need to show you how good gentle can feel,” he says, standing and picking me up.  He carries me to the bed and lays me down, kissing my hair and whispering, “I want every inch of your body to remember me.  Remember the pleasure I give you.” A little moan escapes, and he chuckles low in his throat.  “I’m going to make you wait this time.”

“No,” I pout.

He raises his head and stares down at me.  “You like it quick and dirty, don’t you?” he asks.  Before Holt, I waited five years to have sex again, so my body must think it’s going to be sex deprived again, because he’s right.  “Say it.  Tell me what you like.”

“Quick,” I beg.  “I need to come — now!”

“Demanding,” he smirks at me, pinning my arms overhead.  “I’m the one who gives the orders, remember?”

I actually show my teeth.  It’s like I’m a wild animal in heat.  You know, the kind you see on Discovery Channel when sex looks more like a fight?  He just leans down and kisses the tip of my nose.  I wiggle my hips, grinding into the length of him, hoping I can catch just the right angle to push him inside.  His tip lingers at my entrance — Yes!  But just as I start to push into him, he lifts his hips up.

“Bad girl.”  Then he lifts his eyes to mine and says, “I told you, no quick and dirty this time.  This is a sweet fuck.”

Sweet fuck?  Those words do not go together, but something about them makes my body relax.  And Holt feels it too, releasing my wrists, his tongue finding mine and slowly exploring my mouth.  This is the way he kissed me that first night on his patio — softly and sweetly.  He’s winning me over already.  There’s definitely something to be said for a patient man.

“Christ, you are so beautiful,” he whispers between kisses.

“Holt,” I say, my voice cracking.  It’s much easier to have him talk dirty to me than to hear him say sweet things.  Dirty talk equals fucking, not making love.  At least, it’s easier to fool myself into believing that.  I guess dirty talk happens when you love someone, too.  But sweet talk doesn’t happen when it’s just sex.  It means something more.

His head lowers to my breast, his tongue circling my nipple, and then I feel it a whole lot lower, my legs clenching together.  His hand goes to my other breast, lightly pulling up the nipple while he sucks, licks, and circles the other with his warm mouth.  A tightness builds in my thighs, and a wave of heat flashes over my body.  I don’t know how, but I know I’m close.  Another wave comes over me, and I say a few dirty words in my head.

He keeps his eyes locked on mine as he slides down my body.  Clearly, he hasn’t given up on taking his time.  He kisses my folds gently, like he’s kissing my face, and my legs push together, but he brings my thighs to his shoulders and lightly runs his tongue across me.  “Don’t hold back,” he says.  “You know I love it when you talk dirty.”  His eyes close, and he moans, sending this incredible vibration through me.  He’s being so gentle, so slow.  It’s making me lose my mind.

“Fuck me with your tongue!”  My eyes flash open.  The whispered dirty words in my head have flown out of my mouth.  His eyes catch mine, and he does exactly what I asked, slipping his tongue inside me.  Oh, I like this game.  Ask and I shall receive.

A Veil of Vines by Tillie Cole-Cover Reveal

29 November 2016

To most people,
princes, princesses, counts and dukes are found only in the pages of the most
famous of fairytales. Crowns, priceless jewels and gilded thrones belong only
in childhood dreams.
But for some, these
frivolous fancies are truth.
For some, they are
real life.
On Manhattan’s
Upper East Side, people have always treated me as someone special. All because
of my ancestral name and legacy. All because of a connection we share to our
home country’s most important family of all.
I am Caresa Acardi,
Duchessa di Parma. A blue blood of
Italy. I was born to marry well. And now the marriage date is set.
I am to marry into
House Savona. The family that would have been the royals had Italy not abolished
the monarchy in 1946. But to the aristocrats of my home, the abolishment means
nothing at all.
The Savonas still
hold power where it counts most.
In our tight-knit
world of money, status and masked balls, they are everything and more.
And I am soon to
become one of them.
I am soon to become
Prince Zeno Savona’s wife…
… or at least I
was, until I met
him. And everything
