Tate (Lighthouse Security Investigations Book 6) by Maryann Jordan

Country music, his parents, cold beer, and apple pie…just a few of the things Frank Tate loves. The former SEAL, now a Lighthouse Security specialist also loves his job and lives for the next mission.

But when a call from home sends him back to the mid-west, the past and present collide as danger follows the girl he left behind years before. Will Tate and his fellow Keepers save her in time to see if she has a place in his future?

Lighthouse Security Investigations
The Lighthouse SI Keepers were men and women from the SEALs, Rangers, Special Forces, Deltas, and AF Special Ops. All having been trained in CIA Special Ops, the Keepers were the best of the best and ready to take on any mission.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TATE is one of my favorite Lighthouse Keepers. I have been waiting on his story and it was well worth the wait. I love his character. He’s a sweetheart and Nora is definitely his equal. They grew up together, fell in love, and just when it seemed like they were leading a charmed existence, tragedy struck, tearing them apart. I don’t want to get too much into the story and spoil it, but I will say I understood Tate’s decision although I didn’t agree with it at all. If you’re a believer in fate, maybe you’ll agree the time wasn’t right for them and they needed to live their own lives to appreciate each other once they got back together. ‘What I do know is when he realized his mistake, although many years later, he did everything in his power to fix it. My favorite part about his character is he didn’t demand they get back together. He puts Nora in the driver seat and it’s up to her to decide if they’re going to be together and if so, at what capacity?

Ms. Jordan is at the top of her game with Tate and Nora’s story. You’re drawn in from the beginning and the decisions, pain, angst, etc are palpable, making you feel as if you’re experiencing them in real-time. The author just keeps getting better and better with creating complex characters. Even the side characters are filled with nuances, making me want their stories as well.

I give TATE 5 stars and highly recommend it to those who love a great romance and if you’re a fan of second chance romance, this is definitely a story you want to check out. As always, I’m looking forward to more of Maryann Jordan stories, especially those of the Lighthouse Keepers.

As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I “cut my romance teeth” on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma’s Home was created.

My first novel, Emma’s Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love’s Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.

My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.

I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

I love to hear from readers, so please email me!
